Graduating from Laval University’s Doctor of Dental Medicine program in 2014, Dr. Scalia offers a general dentistry practice for all. He is a good listener and knows how to adapt and offer a personalized approach to each of his patients. With his calm and very professional approach, he makes sure to make your visit to the clinic as pleasant as possible, to simplify the explanations of treatments and to answer all of your questions. He will meet your needs and will be your ally on the way to a beautiful and healthy smile.

We are delighted to introduce you to Dr. Emilie Latour. Dr. Latour is a compassionate and skilled dentist, committed to providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Latour obtained her Diploma in Dental Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2020 and has since accumulated 3 years of clinical experience in a variety of dental settings. She is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry.

Passionate about lifelong learning, Dr. Latour actively participates in continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest advances in dental technology and techniques. She is a proud member of both the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec and the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, enabling her to network with other dental professionals and exchange knowledge and skills.

Dr. Latour believes in a patient-centered approach, emphasizing open communication and attentive listening to individual needs and concerns. She is committed to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental appointments.

When not in the office, Dr. Latour enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors and pursuing her hobbies. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your oral health goals.

Dr. Mathieu Vachon graduated dentistry from the University of Montreal in 2012. He then completed a year of multidisciplinary residency with McGill University at the Royal Victoria Hospital where he was able to broaden his knowledge of dentistry and perform more complex treatments. Passionate about implantology, he continued his training at the Canadian Institute of Implantology and obtained his Fellow from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in 2018.

To this day, he thrives for excellence in everything he does and continues to learn new cutting-edge techniques in implantology, periodontal surgeries and rehabilitation on implants in order to offer you the best care possible. Dr. Mathieu Vachon will undoubtedly meet your expectations with his professionalism, empathy and kindness.

Dr. Maalem completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Université de Montréal, with internships in prosthodontics and implantology. She also holds a diploma in dental surgery
University of Algiers.

Appreciated for her delicacy and precision, her professional, stress-free approach is sure to make every dental appointment a pleasure! Her areas of interest in dentistry include: aesthetic dentistry, surgery, fixed and implant-supported prosthetics, root canals and preventive dentistry for patients of all ages.

Dr. Hala Abiad graduated in 2023 from the University of Montreal with a degree in dentistry. She then pursued an advanced dental education program at the Eastman Institute of the University of Rochester in the United States, where she further developed her skills in endodontics, implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and oral surgery.

Dr. Abiad had the privilege of working with communities in the Northwest Territories, providing specialized dental care in unique settings. A member in good standing of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, she joined our Team in October, captivated by the beauty of the Laurentians, where she now feels at home.

Passionate about her profession and the well-being of her patients, Dr. Abiad is committed to providing high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each person. She prides herself on building trusting relationships with her patients, creating a welcoming and calm environment. Her patients appreciate her attentive listening and gentle approach, making each visit as pleasant as possible.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Abiad is passionate about travel, painting, and cinema—activities that inspire her both personally and professionally. She loves immersing herself in new cultures and finding inspiration in the arts and discoveries.

With a rich and diverse 24-year journey in dental hygiene, Mylene brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role of Treatment Plan Coordinator at our clinic. Her career began as a dedicated dental hygienist, where she not only perfected the art of oral healthcare but also developed a deep understanding of patient needs and concerns.

Throughout her career, Mylene has been renowned for her gentle touch and empathetic approach, qualities that have endeared herto patients and colleagues alike. She possesses an exceptional ability to educate patients about oral health, helping them understand the importance of dental care in their overall well-being.
In her current role as a Coordinator, Mylene expertly guides patients through their dental journey, ensuring that they are fully informed and comfortable with every aspect of their treatment plan. Her extensive experience as a dental hygienist provides her with a unique perspective, allowing her to create tailored treatment plans that align with each patient’s specific needs.

Mylene is deeply committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in dental hygiene and treatment planning. She regularly participates in professional development courses and seminars, ensuring that her knowledge and skills remain at the forefront of the field.
