Dental prosthesis in the upper or lower jaw on 4 dental implants

For a completely toothless patient or one whose teeth must all be extracted, a minimum of six to eight implants are usually required to replace a complete dentition on a jaw. This represents a significant cost.

Fortunately, Nobel Biocare’s latest All-on-4® technology provides adequate and effective support for a complete upper or lower jaw prosthesis with only four dental implants. It is based on the same principle as the legs of a chair or table, which can support a considerable weight.

The revolutionary method of the All-on-4® technology consists in placing the two posterior implants at an angle of 45^o, which increases their strength and allows them to withstand high masticatory forces. The other two implants are positioned vertically at the front of the jaw.
