Tasks and responsibilities

Schedule

Join our team with a permanent position of 24-30 hours per week.

3 days Tuesday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm.

Role and responsibilities:

Prepare clients for dental exams done by the dentist.
Disinfect and set up the treatment room.
Prepare the dental materials necessary for the various treatments.
Assist the dentist in taking x-rays.
Polishes the coronal part of the teeth and applies fluoride and sealant.
Assist the dentist in taking impressions.
Fabricate crowns and temporary restorations.
Educate clients on dental hygiene.
Order dental and office supplies.

Requirements:

Completion of an eight month to one year college or other dental assisting program or a high school diploma and on-the-job training.
